Whenever you drink out of a plastic bottle, you risk ingesting the chemicals used to make the bottles as these toxins can leach into the water over time. Substances leaching out of plastic food packaging materials act as functional estrogens and mess up your hormones. I used to not like water but Berkey changed that for me.
